A Fintech Drift Forum serves as a platform for exchanging views freely between academia, practitioners and policy makers.
The FinTech Drift Forum (FDF) has been set up in 2021 and is a flagship project of the Smart Fintech Network.
The FDF runs on three tracks:

  • research track,
  • business track,
  • student track.
The FDF tracks are laid down as events (conferences, seminars) as well as they are made through other activities (studies, articles, projects, networking, etc.).

The FinTech Drift Forum originates from the Payments Drift Forum which was organised as conferences that took place on an annual basis in Poland, Germany and Spain in the years 2016-2019.

The first 2016 and the fourth 2019 PDF editions were held at the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Management, Poland. .

The second 2017 edition was organised in Germany, in Aschaffenburg near Frankfurt am Main (University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern and University of Applied Sciences Aschaffenburg),.

The third 2018 edition took place in Madrid, Spain (IE Business School).
